Thank you. In canon, it's Trip who thinks that the alien child is abused by his mother (he isn't), but I thought it would be more interesting to have Sandra in that situation, as her donor, Suzie, was mad enough at her father to pull the plug on him.

Me, too! There was so much history with both John and Sherlock alluded to in his few scenes. It seems he will be in the Special that's supposed to air sometime this year. That's something, but they should use him more.
I thought the way a similar situation was dealt with with Dax was intriguing.
