I am determined to have a snippet, however unexciting, every day from now until the end of the month. We'll see how that goes!

320 words today, but it hasn't been a very writing kind of day - very conversational breakfast with friends, and then tigger_boing and I had an adventure on a very small steam train on the way back up the road. All lovely but distracting!

A slightly faded sign offered a path somwhere along to the left and a path somewhere along to the right, so I headed for the nearest one, refusing to be led astray by hand-painted signs offering ice cream, and this time I was more successful, finding a path with a sign claiming that the summit was 1 hour away.
