I am doing a bit of beta for a friend today and tomorrow. I hope to plonk away at my story a bit tomorrow also, after I have finished the chapter I'm beta-ing!
I like the sound of 'a bit of beta'. It's fun to say.
I've just started my writing for the day. I'm doing a little bit more outlining on my project separate from my big one while I'm waiting for a phone call and then I'm gonna spend the rest of the night on my first 4 hour project cos I know I won't have any time this weekend to do it. Initially, I was gonna allocate myself days to come up with plots for each of the stories before I do the writing, but I talked to a friend about it and she thinks I should have the entire project timed, including the outline and I agree.
For anyone interested, here's a video that helped inspire my project:
I have a big problem with follow through and perfectionism so I'm hoping this project will help me overcome those issues and start working on more projects that I am passionate about rather than twiddling my thumbs waiting for the "right moment" or "right idea".
Almost no writing time today - I was running round shops at lunchtime, and then went straight off to Newcastle in tigger_boing's car, so it was all on the bus in the morning.
62 words of walk report, 42 on AoS event - really no more than the snippet!
Next time, Cadair Idris and the Pontcysyllte aqueduct, which I thought might be difficult to get to, but turns up to be conveniently on the bus route from Dolgellau to Wrexham - I see no reason to change the winning combination of hills and Telford, although I probably can't fit in a castle if I'm trying to do it in a weekend!

No words for me today except patient notes. :)
