No words today. Too much else to do. I did write almost 6 pages yesterday, though, and I intend to type it up tomorrow, so I hope I'll have a snippet to offer by the evening.
w'hey! an' we're off! ~squeaka-squeaka-squeaka~ m'wheels need oilin', methinks.
so, the demented helta-skelta go-cart race that is pico is off again. i had such fun last time, i've been really looking forward to this. so inkeeping with last november's disasterous attempt where i ended up in hospital, i thought i'd kick off with a trip to the hospital yesterday with a suspected heart-attack, just to get things rollin'.... ~squeaka-squeaka-squeaka~ i'm fine btw, poorly, but fine...
so, offering today: zip. at least not anything terribly fanfare-like that would conform to a nice a4 piece that one could hand in to teacher and get marked. instead, i've dabbled a bit on a character i've been cultivating (in rp on twitter) for awhile, a spin-off of a canon character from tv series and which has morphed into something au and which i lob original ideas at. i have a tendancy to do this quite often as for some reason writing (rping) canon is far too constrained. invariably i end up twanging off like an elastic band when it comes to ideas and find myself in au territory.
so for march, and considering my unpredictable track record health-wise, i think i'll be keeping things light workloadwise and just working on this auo character and its developing story arcs and storylines. i do need to do an archive on it too, as its surprising how quickly storylines and arcs develop and then suddenly it's been awhile and things need to be tied down - so i might do a bit of this too as other characters written by other people have contributed to the development of this character along the way.
as for the rest of you, lovely to be here again, and look forward to reading everyone once more.
It was very cute (https://ingreatwaters.files.wordpress.com/2019/02/dsc09565.jpg?w=863), although it didn't shine any lights, presumably because the canal was closed for repairs,
I really only walked a mile or so of the Caledonian canal - I was staying in Fort Augustus, halfway along, for a fiddling weekend.
But there's almost no snow about even on the highest hills, or at least there wasn't until yesterday - warm weather came along and melted it all. And I do quite a lot of low level walking in winter.
Hello everyone--I found mention of picowrimo elsewhere and thought it sounded doable, so here I am. That is, if no one minds me just showing up? (I have seen a few LJ communities who only wanted those people who they'd invited to show up.)
This week was a real life comedy of errors. I kept running into people who would make great comedy-villains. I'm going to need to write just to relieve the stress this month or sooner or later I'm going to grab one of those comedy-villains and shake them hard in an attempt to get their brains to reboot. :^)

A little ‘pepperpot’ lighthouse marks the entrance to the canal – these are the smallest lighthouses in Britain.
