No words today. Mum utilized my entire morning, and when we finally got home I barely had two hours before turning around and leave again for choir practice. Naturally, no translating was done in those two hours and very little crafting, too. *is really pissed-off*

A momentous day, because I finished the knitting - pictures once it's not a secret any more! I didn't really mean to do any more of it tonight, but once I was at the point where I only had the long cast off to do I decided that I might as well get it done.

I really did mean to try and sort out Nelson tonight, but between concentration on knitting and general exhaustion I didn't have any brainpower left, and went on with the walk report that started at the Rest and Be Thankful instead. 340 words.

The shade didn't last long, though, and I was soon out onto bare and dusty forestry track - an attractive scene with Beinn Bheula ahead, but thirsty work

Last night I dreamt that I was trying to find the North West Passage by following the instructions in a knitting pattern. I think this may imply Too Much Lace, as well as too much Arctic reading!

Sorry that I went MIA, but I have been very sick (flu) since Sunday and am still not feeling all that great now. I managed to write a little, but not much. My advice, get a flu shot. I did and can't even imagine what this would have been like without it.

Thank you! I am pretty much back to normal, but took another day to recover. It was just safer in the long run.

Thanks! I am doing my best to just rest and not plunge back into things. My fever is nearly gone and I really slept well last night, so I'm feeling almost human. I stayed home today despite wanting to go to work (to save my last sick day).

I don't mind daughtering. I love Mum to pieces and I'm grateful that I can do things for her. It's just so that it was such a beautiful, sunny day, and I work so much better by natural light...
