A bit more than a page translated - which means, the current chapter would be done, if not for the dratted infodump page (or two) I've left out. I'm actually considering of leaving it out entirely; or rewriting the scene in a much shortened version. Who aside from me would be interested why the dratted bugs are named the way they are?

That's the long-term plan, yeah. I can never resist the urge to insert totally unnecessary trivia into my stories, just because I find it interesting. Small wonder that hardly anyone reads my stuff.

Quite frankly, the information doesn't have the slightest significance for the story. I'm just obsessed with unnecessary trivia.

I like the idea of knowing why bugs are named that way. OTOH, info dumps can get long.

True. Plus, the whole thing isn't really interesting. It's part of the world-building, for sure, but doesn't play any actual role in the story, so it could be safely left out... in theory.
