November 2021, Day 28

It's hard to believe that our November session is almost over, isn't it? Time seems to go in a strange fashion nowadays: it seems to croach forward, and yet it's going swiftly when we aren't paying attention.

This is the place to tell us about your daily success (or the lack of it)!

May the magic be with us all!

Wait, there's another session still? Wow.

Wohoo! I took a nap, then ate two pomegranates. And now I am still trying to catch up on Hudson and Rex. And digest the pomegranates.

I have managed to actually write words of the WIP today — although only 230 or so and so I think the chapter may not be quite finished by the end of the month — but it is definitely progressing so I am fairly happy.

Oh well done you!

I did three freewriting exercises, ten minutes apiece; for some reason which may have been because I did them about 40 minutes before lunch, they all three turned out to be about food. I like writing and reading about food, sometimes more than eating it :)

Any progress this time of year is good :)

Oh yum, I haven't had one of those for years — I did find some poems about them last year for my course though :)

The baking plan sounds like a good serious bit of writing :)

That's too bad. I grew up with them because my paternal grandmother grew them in her yard, so we always got them in the fall.

How lovely — what a nice memory to have.

Well done you! I like reading and writing about food, too.

Here's a fun one. We would drive down to my grandmother's, then drive back with a box of them she would give us. Well, once, apparently, our car broke down, so we sat and ate pomegranates as we waited for help. When the police came to check with us, there were peels all over the ground. lol Luckily, it wasn't mentioned.

Beat my personal best for the month today! (Helpful that my mom didn't come over as planned, so I had the entire day to write.) 4,641 words, which leaves only 4 scenes left to go on this exchange fic!

That definitely counts! Sounds like a productive day. Good luck with the last two gift fics!

Thank you.
