I sorta failed all round, didn't do the writig I planned but I did do some of my studies reading and posting, and spent several hours fighting with one of our laptops to get the new virus program to work properly (the problem wasn't it, it was me, but do you think that made me any happier?)

But I did do — no let me be honest, overdo — the name research :)

And fun. Definitely lots of fun. I have an 'Arthurian Dictionary' of all the names in the canons that I found a website for at one stage, and downloaded the lot. Plus a list - big one, with diminutives - of medieval names that I got so long ago that I have not the faintest idea if I coculd find again...

Okay, the ficlets didn't come off but still. I got to read my name lists!
