Day 3 (Team July)

Here is the post to update with any extracts, thoughts, or comments you might have for today.

Keep the fires burning!

(Considering the temperatures we're currently having over here, I expect spontaneous self-combusting on my part. *sighs*)

I'm so mean to him. I hate myself.

Hate it when that happens!

Wow, that's very good. And I like your strategy of working on something else when you can't face the current project.
I tend to say screw it, I'll skip writing, but there's always something else to write, of course there is.

I love weaselly Jones. Speaking so softly while he threatens Reynard. But Jones is about to get his comeuppance, methinks...

And good progress writing on other projects!

Hiding the conversation with "Songs of Glory and Victory" - clever girls. Good scene!
Good luck with the writing!

Thank you! :D

I often get stuck and if I don't work on something else I often get so stuck that I don't write anything for ages... but here I have motivation to work on things :D

I liked getting inside Maurice's head, and his voice. It flows, just as his own thoughts would, reflecting on the poem and poet.
Don't do anything rash with what you've written, don't kill it with self-doubt. It's good writing, as usual.

Moira reminds me of a few people I've known - they're blunt, don't really care about how they come across, just think about how things affect themselves. Happy writing!

Good work, there, figuring things out with the outline. and doing the research on the characters will certainly provide good fodder when the writing comes. Good luck with the opening scene, you're off to a good start!

Thanks mrs. "Stet" - for the moment anyway :)

Thanks. Jones may have picked on the wrong villain here.

Thanks! It looks like this idea has legs. Phew.

Thanks! A lot of the outline got sidelined in the end, but the thought that went into creating the original character was salvaged. I think this version has got legs, thankfully.

Thank you! Love your icon, by the way.

Thanks! The research has definitely proven useful, and now I'm actually off to a start, things are feeling less blocked.
