Yes, it is progress. It's an interesting question about whether it will be one story or a series of related stories or a collection of independent stories.

I'm trying to be hopeful for Firiel, but it isn't easy.

Thank you! It all feels related, as I've having to do so much worldbuilding and character building (given the lack of much detail in canon), I guess I should try and fill in the important gaps and then see what feels right from there.

Things are going to be hard for her... but not all bad
