Good Morning!

Here's today's prompt for your writing updates and for any extracts, thoughts, or comments you might have.

I love the ethereal quality of this - particularly 'scented with half-heard words'.

Thank you!

At the moment there are fourteen chapters, but some of the later ones are already long and likely to get longer, so I will try to break them down further.

I really like the 'cloud of lacquer' detail! Raymond's advice sounds sensible, though potentially a lot more trouble.

I don't know the fandom, but this has a wondferul tense feel to it.

200 words is progress, and research is always useful!

Good point! Thank you!

*nods* Thank you. :)

*nods* although it also adds to the length of the story by providing new ideas.
Thanks :)

Yay words :)

Very vivid!

Wow - looks like you are making very good progress towards your target!

Interesting scene! :)

I did manage some lunch-time writing - about 400 words I think - but had no Internet last night (again!) to post anything. With luck I'll be able to do so tonight with today's count.

It's the tragedy of Avon's life!

Thank you!

The greatest of many betrayals, but this reality may still be kinder. (Not that I know where I'm ultimately going.)

[identity profile] vilakins.livejournal.com 2012-07-12 08:31 pm (UTC)(link)
Thanks.

Not so much watching him as being with him. Sherlock was visiting, but maintaining the cover of being dead by not allowing John to be awake while he was there. Now John realises that the dreams were his semi-conscious memories.

Thank you! I was thinking partly that the words would have been whispered so near that they could be smelt and partly that the dreams were so affecting that they crossed the senses.

Thanks.

Raymond's advice tends to be like that.
