Aw! This sounds fascinating. (I'm afraid I don't remember the story at all; is this the Arthur, of English legend, in the title?) And Gilli seems young and idealistic but kind of cute. Is his name related at all to the Old English word "ghillie" meaning "servant"? *can't help getting etymological when unusual names are involved* ;-)

A few tiny corrections / suggestions: you've lost a quotation mark near the beginning of the last paragraph; it should be "day on which" you were born, not "on when" (I know, English is counterintuitive *wry grin*); I'm guessing "That way why he warned you" is a typo for "That was why" etc; and similarly, the evil "in very strong" looks like a typo for "is very strong".

Thanks for the corrections! As you probably know, I'm not a native English speaker, and there's only so much spellcheck can do. *sighs*

This story is based on BBC's Merlin series, although I went quite AU with it - closer to the legends, actually, but not quite. So it's something of a mishmash that's gone on for 14 ungodly long chapters already and an end still isn't within sight. Gilli is a canon character, BTW, who appeared in a single episode only, so I could do with him what I wanted, basically.
