Pretty much finished the Zelenka and Chris thing but also was distracted by a very silly idea using a canon/fanon absurdity for one of the other dialogues, so wrote 730 words of Avon (Blakes 7) and Stargate's Daniel Jackson... which I will post now and the first one tomorrow :)
"You are living in a ruthless and almost impossibly bloodthirsty dictatorship -"
"Not almost," Avon sneered, "which should be obvious since it was precisely that bloodthirsty and more. But yes, otherwise true."
"Run by a sociopathic Supreme Everything She Can Think Of -"
Avon was not about to admit it, but he liked that description.
"- Who sounds to me like a Go'auld with better dress sense -"
" Again, true." He didn't understand that description, but suspected he would like it if he did.
Avon and Daniel? Now that's an explosive mixture! I wonder how long it would take until Daniel has gone so much on Avon's nerves that he'd shoot him. *g*
No new words today - I've typed up the rest of the "Sleeping Dragons" stuff, and I've posted all 10 chapters of the series' pilot to AO3 here (http://archiveofourown.org/users/Soledad/works). Which took me the rest of the day, since only the first 5 chapters had been posted to otherworlds_lib and therefore already hand-coded. Currently, I've got glowing little pieces of broken glass in my eyes (or that's what if feels like anyway), rendering me completely useless. But I still have a tiny little snippet from the newly typed-up paragraphs.
Excerpt:
Owen reluctantly nodded because it actually made sense. Jenkins, however, was still a bit suspicious.
“You forgot to mention what Mr Palmer is doing here,” he said. “What is his field?”
Dr Arnold shrugged. “He doesn’t have one; not like the rest of us, at least not yet. The plan is for him to provide basic psychic training for new Torchwood agents, as soon as Sir Archibald begins to build up his team in earnest. In the meantime, he comes in handy when we have to infiltrate places. With his distinguished look and the help of psychic paper he can get into places none of us could.”
