March Pico 2018, Day 1

No actual writing today as I was barely at home. I did some plotting, though, having revamped the concept of "Intersections" in recent days. So, instead of a two-part prologue, there will be a first part to the entire story - an AU version of the DW episodes "The Stolen Earth/Journey's End", and then a second, much longer part, which is the CoE fix-it. The latter has been outlined in detail for years, but now I've got a vague idea what the first part will look like, and even a tiny bit of written stuff.

Being torn out roughly from intertemporal travel was nothing new for the last of the Time Lords generally known as The Doctor. It had happened to him countless time during his 900-year-old existence and, he assumed, it was going to happen again often enough. However, being torn out of his transfer by a monumental outburst of spatio-temporal energy and crash-landing on the planet Earth in the early 21st century was a novum.

Oh, I never actually give up on many stories! It's just so that after a temporary finish it takes me time to return to them and write the next part. A lot of time.

Is the first part a stand-alone?

More or less. The first part will be an AU version of "The Stolen Earth/Journey's End", with the complete omission of Rose-bloody-Tyler whom I hate with the passion of a thousand burning suns. She didn't really get so much to do in the double episode anyway, was just there to sniff indignantly and to get the Doctor, after all... sort of. I'm just not sure how I'm going to deal with that part yet.

The second part of the story is basically a CoE fix-it... but more than that. I'll rehabilitate Donna, and the Doctor will get "sein Fett weg", as the Germans would say, as mere humans are going to deal with the 456 in a quick, efficient and merciless way he'll heavily frown upon but nobody would care about his sensitivities and they'll give him a piece of their minds about a lot of things he could have dealt with much better. *rubs hands in gleeful anticipation*

I like that! I have missed the way in the early days the Doctor never knew or could control where the TARDIS ended up each time....
