Leaving a quick note because I'm going to re-watch the first Hobbit film later - I'm sure it will be an interesting experience in German!

Anyway, I didn't write today, because of experimental baking (picture on my journal) and rabid house cleaning. But yesterday I happened to write deep into the night, finishing Chapter 16 and starting Chapter 17. It's sooo good to be able to write my own twists and additions where I don't have to struggle with retelling canon!

Well, I didn't last long. The dubbed German voices were so disturbing that I dug out my DVDs and watched the original instead. I saw the film with Hungarian dubbing in the cinema and it was just fine, but since I've first heard the original voices of the actors, I'm not sure I'd enjoy any dubbed version ever again.

A day mostly spent going for a walk - I finished up by writing an LJ post about it, and decided that was enough.

Once again I have gone out for a walk and come back with a sore arm, which feels like history repeating itself far too soon
