It was very cute (https://ingreatwaters.files.wordpress.com/2019/02/dsc09565.jpg?w=863), although it didn't shine any lights, presumably because the canal was closed for repairs,
I really only walked a mile or so of the Caledonian canal - I was staying in Fort Augustus, halfway along, for a fiddling weekend.
But there's almost no snow about even on the highest hills, or at least there wasn't until yesterday - warm weather came along and melted it all. And I do quite a lot of low level walking in winter.

A little ‘pepperpot’ lighthouse marks the entrance to the canal – these are the smallest lighthouses in Britain.
