Early post today because I'm not sure I'll be able to get to the computer in the evening.

Here is the place to tell us about your daily success (or the lack of it)!

May the magic be with us all!

Very cool! There are times when writing isn't always the best way to express yourself. It sounds like you had a great day!

I wrote some notes for work. That's it. :)

This is true, but sadly I can't snippet any of these things, so I went off and wrote 100 words of next week's blog post (we will ignore the fact that I haven't written any of this week's yet).

The one there now is a later replacement - several places online had told me that, and so I was quite amused to discover when I actually got to the stone that the replacement itself was more than 200 years old

I'm all uptight and tense about the snow we're supposed to get Sunday too.
It's made me think of something to write about though.
So what are you planning on cooking once you're safely back home? I'll put it into my story...
:^)

I don't love cooking, so I look for easy dishes with a lot of flavour. Last night we made this Yakisoba:

https://cooking.nytimes.com/recipes/1013061-yakisoba-with-pork-and-cabbage

I used mushrooms instead of pork though and added some red pepper. I hardly ever have mirin, so I just use a little white wine with a pinch of sugar. Totally inauthentic but excellent taste :)

If it doesn't work for your story, any pasta dish will do!!

The sun is shining right now, I guess all the excitement will start at 4 PM :(

I read it! And it sounds like you're going somewhere quite strange... I like strange. I did chuckle a bit while reading, because as you can see in my post below, I've been thinking about animated straw brooms--but of course in terms of the ridiculous rather than the sublime :D

At least Easter is late this year, I have a bit of time to figure out what I want to do!

I'm leaning towards it--though god knows very few people will have a clue what's going on :)

If you're working on Easter Eggs, I honestly don't think anyone cares if you go over the suggested limit. At least I hope they don't care because I almost always go over!

What shoes did you buy?
And I have no idea how you can work with six colors and keep them from tangling!

According to the post, it should be between 100 and 500 words. I always try to abide by that. I agree that no one probably cares, but I do like to try and following the rules, plus it's more of a test for me.

I don't either! By the time I'd got two rows in it was all a bit like a colourful spider's web :-)

I didn't buy any shoes in the end, but knowing that none of the things in either shop's sale were any use is kind of a step forward...
