Here is the place to tell us about your daily success (or the lack of it)!

May the magic be with us all!

I wish I could say I wrote, but I haven't, but I did think about it.

rollin' rollin' rollin', keep those words on rollin' ....

i'm on a roll, as the saying goes. i hope i haven't jinxed myself by saying that now. another 300 or so today.

here's a sneaky peek at what's going on :

Cole Turner's unanticipated act of creativity, the product of his own free will, gathered in the corner of an abandoned warehouse on the south side of the San Francisco river. There, in the darkness, between the rotten concrete beams and corroded iron and steel, straw men huddled together. What possible intention drew them to that place to seek each other out, or what possible rationale could explain their purpose, remained unto them; unspoken, silent, tiny, imperfect structures of straw standing no taller than a hand, and numbering now in their thousands upon thousands. Eternity's answer to order, perhaps. Unanticipated free radicals that could turn events upon themselves - and at that precise moment turned the estimations of their faces towards a sound, a sound of a helicopter and the beam from its searchlight as it swept past the derelict building, and then on.

This has been mostly a knitting day - 75 words just to keep my hand in.

signs warned of cows in the field, but there were none to be seen, and it would have been hard to fit them in, as about 75% of the field was filled with gorse bushes.

My today was similar to yesterday, except more work. Also had the puppy at work, so I spent time staring at her, and taking her outside.

For some reason* I suddenly remembered an unfinished piece on my hard-drive labelled 'Truly Crack Elf fic', went back to it, read it and decided it wasn't too bad - even if it is truly crack! So I have edited a bit. I plan to do some more of it today.

*Possibly because my recent ready has been a mix of SF and space travelling vampires.
