Not a very productive day for me. I only managed to translate a few paragraphs full of fake, made-up scientific babble, as I got distracted by a not-so-small bit of crafting; plus I had my student in the afternoon. Not getting any younger, apparently.
No snippet today. I'm planning to type up as much as I can from the already written stuff tomorrow. Perhaps split the chapter in two short-ish parts, as it is getting a bit too long. Well, it was too long in the original already. But twenty years ago I was determined - for some unknown reason - to write no chapter that would be shorter than 18 pages. Don't ask my why.
Didn't get to any writing yet today since it's only 7 pm, but I did make some very big progress yesterday!
I wrote a draft for an (admittedly shorter end) fic for Star Wars Rare Pairs all in one go! That was such a glorious success since I have been fiddling at it all October, with several false starts. I also edited another shortish fanfic yesterday.
So. I'm super pleased and not too worried even if I end up not writing at all tonight.
Right now what bums me out for my Pico is that it looks like I'll be handing my laptop in for repairs this month (battery is broken, a repair I have been postponing for months since I constantly needed the laptop) so I'll end up being however long without. Which makes me all the more glad I got a draft for my assignment but. Still a bummer.
I spent a good deal of time writing this and that this morning, none of it story related. I'm counting it as writing, but am not adding it toward my writing time goal. Tomorrow I am going to work on a WIP if I haven't chosen a holiday story by then. No work on the 90 Day Novel exerccises, either. Now it's time for tea and reading, in between doing the damned laundry. It's snowing again. Which should be nice, but I was hoping for some sunny crisp fall days and instead we have gone over to grey winter without blinking.

I still have no idea what to do with my Yuletide prompt, but for some reason this has given me all kind of other ideas, for things that no one wants me to write. I never have fic ideas!
Not that I have done anything with any of them yet, but you know, I could.
The knitting is growing - past 45%, but this means that I'm past the plain middle bit and into complicated lacy things, which is slow going because I have to look at it, and Concentrate.
Words are not growing very much - another ~100 on the walk report.
The path keeps to its original level as the valley below drops away, and ends up contouring the hillside - this is an unusual place for the Lake District, as I can't think of many large valleys so utterly empty.
