Now that the transcribing work of Hell has been finished, I've started on the translating work of Purgatory, aka the next story in the "Lost Years" series. Basically, it's my version of the never-filmed second going of Original Trek, with a side dish of some Original BSG - commonly known as a crossover, or as I call it, "if classics collide". *g*

Doctor Leonard McCoy, chief medical officer of the Enterprise, stepped out of the turbolift cabin just in time to witness his best friend’s moment of uncharacteristic depth and approached the captain’s chair with the well-founded wariness of a psychiatrist who had good reason to fear that his patient might attack him in an unexpected moment.
“Are you all right, Jim? What ails you?”
“The captain is merely troubled by the loneliness of the human condition, Doctor,“ replied Xon, who had shortly before returned from the surface of Antar Beta II to correlate the collected data, with scientific detachment.
