March 2021 - Day 22

Here is the place to tell us about your daily success (or the lack of it)!
May the magic be with us all!

Day 22: late night writing last night was past midnight so I am claiming those 200 words for day 22. We have our little granddaughter with us today, overnight, and tomorrow. So I am planning to work on my Easter story tonight after she's in bed. After yesterday's frustrating session I came up with a change to the story that may make the thing work. Will continue with that tonight if I can stay motivated to write instead of turning into a sloth!

So — as ever — RL dragged me off to do something more boring instead. So, still stuck on chapter five of the story I'm trying to move.

Therefore the sum total of my lack of accomplishment thus far adds up to:

Pros BB — apart from a bit of tweaking, nothing much more on this — but March is not over, so don't give up faint hearts !

Move story — as mentioned, still part-way through transferring chapter five — still no joy on finding a suitably illustrative poem.

MFU WIP — nothing more on this so far.

Clinic notes for me, as usual. Thought about the next one. lol It'll be the 16 year well child check.

So rather than actual words in the docs, I opened a new document today to talk to myself about my fics. The goal was to figure out overall where they're going and make sure it all flows correctly with what I'm planning. I wound up with 3k in the document, and I only through one and a third? of the three fics. Definitely some words I can use in the doc, though not all 3k. It was nice to let up the pressure, knowing that none of those words had to go over, and I plan to continue/possibly finish this exercise tomorrow!
