Here is the place to tell us about your daily success (or the lack of it)!
May the magic be with us all!

I've started writing a SF little story inspired by one I saw online titled 'invasive species'... I'm trying not to rip off the original story, my idea is rather different (and, ummm, a little bit horror) but I'll see how it turns out. I know there have been a billion takes on the a'alien parasite' story, but the image I got simply wouldn't let go.

Still odd scraps - 104 words about a programme I watched about Turner.

There are three things I knew about Turner, I think - that he studied clouds in order to accurately depict weather, rather than just using generic clouds as a standard background to any picture, that he painted sunsets coloured by volanic ash, and that he painted Temeraire in her last days

In Roman Gaul they have been leaving offerings for the spirit of the source of the Seine, but then some of them turned Christian and got in trouble for it. I only read half a chapter again today, though - it was quite a long chapter, and other things were happening.

A week's gone by already! I've barely been writing. I've logged 2 1/2 hours. We are just too busy with summer activities, lots of fun, and several other commitments have popped up unexpectedly.

I will try harder next week to get a grip on my writing time, and will pop in here to wave hello when I can!

I got more done on my essay. Maybe 50% of the way.

341 words today on the new thing I started yesterday. Having fun with it! I think if I actually find more than 30 minutes to devote to it I might make good progress toward getting it done. Hopefully this weekend!
