as usual, the weekend was not conducive to writing, but I managed to squeeze in a bit of research on locations and some technical issues I needed to clarify so I don't sound like a complete idiot!

Managed about 200 words of usable writing today, it'll part of the introduction to the story.

Day 15: A bit of writing in the notebook this morning
250 words, toying with an idea for the story's emotional arc. I still have to finish watching the episode before I go any farther with this idea. I never got back to doing that, and I'd better get it done so I can move on.

Oh dear, RL did give me a walloping with a couple of bad days so no writing (except for my Sunday positivity post, which I try not to miss if I can help it). Unfortunately, it's the kind of RL that can't be usefully turned into fiction (especially not the plumbing problems bit)

But I got some written today — a fanfic I was quickly reading in bed annoyed me so much I am responding with a decidedly snarky (and nonfannish, the characters have all been turned into originals so I aren't tempted to plagiarise/pastiche the original author) story. About 700 words of story and ideas down.

Hello, hello! It has been a crazy few days...so apologies for the disappearance! No words as of yet...but I'm ruminating, lol!

It was not a writerly day for me — I did my stint in the little charity bookshop where I volunteer on Mondays, then met my daughter for tea and a sandwich, accompanied by a good gossip, and we did some shopping together. Came home, cooked dinner, and collapsed in front of the TV for the evening!

I am still around, but for the last few days I've felt like I had time either to write words or to write comments!

Not that I wrote many words, either - 101, and some general tidying up. I think I was mostly busy sewing up some of the charity knitting - hats and so on - that's lying about being untidy.

From about 1600 the trade in coal had become steadily more important as the pressure on wood for all kinds of purposes grew and less could be spared for fuel

Had to take an unexpected trip somewhere without internet for most of the day, but I managed to get 400 words in!

Not doing NaNoWriMo specifically, but mainly because I'm already working on a novel.

As of today, 12,500 words added this month. :)
