Back to Cook — mostly about the third voyage, but also realising that since there are three chapters covering his three voyages, it doesn't make sense to split it too strictly. 103 words.

The third voyage was a slightly unlikely voyage of exploration, looking for a north-west passage between Alaska and the American mainland, and had no team of civilian scientists

If I dimly recall from reading, that north-west passage was a goal for many explorers...

(And they should always take civilian scientists. See Darwin. And Stargate Atlantis!!!)
