Hello.  i originally found this community through juno_icons around the end of October.  Since then, i've been struggling to figure out where my muse packed up and ran off to.

A few nights ago, i finally decided on a storyline of sorts, and today i was finally able to start writing.  Not easy with three children.  :-)  Anyway, i'm writing a first-person fictionalized account of my time spent in the mental health unit.  i got 744 words written today, and i feel like i can still catch up.  :-)

You've caught up already! As I see it, Pico isn't about churning out words in competition with the rest of us, but battling the demons of procrastination and distraction together.

Thank you. Once again, you have some very nice insight. It wasn't that i felt as if i were (or am) in competition with others, so much as looking at average word count needed per day to reach my personal goal of minimum 5000, and taking into account the fact that i *know* i won't be able to write every day. Wow, that was a run-on sentence and then some! :-)
