She means well. I just hate being confronted with the fact that I'm still making so many mistakes. And I'm trying sooo hard!

I often don't write the linear way. Sometimes big chunks of later chapters, or even the ending, get written long before the start. Of course, working them into the story where they belong is always a pain in the backside.

But I like to opportunity of being able to work backwards at times, too. It allows for later brainstorms.

I'm trying. And I almost believe it myself - until something comes back from a helpful beta. I have a way too thin hide, that's he problem, I'm afraid.
