Very little writing time today, but I was brutal to the muse and managed to shoehorn my shiny new Dwarf characters into the story. About two pages written and Chapter 16 is nearly finished, which is a relief.

It was so cold here that it was a pleasure to stay in and have all the cooking and roasting heat up the house! Thanksgiving is not a writing day for sure.

I seem to have spent most of my free time, of which there wasn't much, doing my knitting all wrong and then undoing it again. A little bit of reading and a very very small amount of writing.

These days we're used to things which do their job without apparent effort

I knit and crochet as well--and though I used to try to ignore mistakes I've learned my lesson. Grit your teeth, unravel and do it again. Saves time in the long run.
