I meant to do some proper concentrating tonight, but I'm tired, and someone made me Cross, and it didn't happen. ~325 words on the canal, but I'm not finished with it, which would have been nice.

This weekend is a horse weekend for me, so not much writing. Did take some voice notes about my lesson today. Will transcribe them tomorrow into my riding journal along with any notes from tomorrow.

This was two days of clinic (lessons), and then tomorrow is a schooling show.
I do compete in rated shows, just not very many because they are pretty far away.

I haven't had time to post in the evenings, but have been managing to get some work in every morning. Not as much a I'd like, but still, I'm moving forwards sentence by sentence. This is not going to be a 500 word vignette I'm afraid. I intend to keep it under 1000 words no matter what though.

Back-posting here. Friday morning I had a good hour and a half session. I was working on the slashy part of the story, in which the focus is on the emotion, not the steam. It wound up being not many words at all, lots of try-this-nope-that's-horrible:)
