Welcome to PicoWriMo's 2019 November session!
Dear participants,
The November session starts tomorrow, so feel free to tell us what are your plans for this all-important month. We're all here to cheer each other on, after all. Even if you aren't up to actual writing, taking a look and encouraging the others counts as a Good Deed in the eyes of God, Our Lord - and in the eyes of each poor, struggling writer. ;))
May the magic be with us all!

Within the next ten days or so I'll have to pick a set of prompts for the mfu Christmas exchange story; hopefully there'll be something I can work with sooner rather than later. I'll be working on that story most of the month. Before that starts, I'm going to try to do one or two vignettes: mood pieces just to experiment a bit and get back in the habit of writing a little every day.
I'm also woefully behind on my correspondence, but always feel that while it's writing, it's a bit of a cheat during pico. But it's there as a backup!

It's always more fun to struggle together ;)

I was looking at the Rainbow Room one because I've actually been there so research would be minimal, but it looks like she wants Napoleon het and I just can't.
If worse comes to worst I'll just take one and concentrate on one of the prompts rather than all three.

I would like to write every day. I would like to write at least 100 words every day, if I can.
This may mean that sometimes I have to scribble down 100 words of *something* - a walk report or whatever - early in the day, so that it doesn't matter if the main thing I'm trying to work on doesn't get beyond a note-taking stage - otherwise I end up prioritising the words and just doing what's easiest, in order to have something to report...
Then there's Yuletide - I'd like to have at least an idea by the end of the month. And I have another knitting project on the go...

It's fun looking out the window :)

My desk faces the wall. I am seriously tempted to turn it around or move it to a different spot so I can see outside. Letting my thoughts drift among the trees makes a writing session so appealing.
