Fun research! Are you able to find material written at the time (and translated I assume), or using mainly contemporary writings?

I'm not deep diving too far for the background. Mostly wikipedia (but checking how they sourced it) and other websites that go into history for about that timeframe.

Though I am pondering what to name my gal since she may be a 14th/15th century Irish woman and names were different then.

Heck, I'm doing far more research than the show this is fanfic is based on has done. It's a KDrama and even they kept it very open to interpretation as to the exact timeframe.
