I agree about Sulu's deep voice. I've always been amazed at that gorgeous deep voice.

I had another good day and finished up another of my one-sentence fics - 761 words this time.

I like writing. It's always been the constant in my life.

I started writing when I was in the fourth grade, most Mary Sue ST stuff. Sigh. Good times!

That's a long sentence!

It's not all one sentence. :D The challenge is that someone gives me a sentence and I work it into a fic somehow.

Wow, that is great! I'll look for it! I love the idea of one sentence.

I thought I might get some decent writing done tonight, but somehow instead I ended up hauling lots of things out from under my bed to tidy them, and then I was exhausted. So just 101 words on Captain Cook, who I abandoned unfinished a while ago.

...having laid down the location of Dusky Bay on the first voyage, using the lunar distance technique, he was able to sail directly to it on the second voyage after spending 120 days out of sight of land.

Hey, at least that' something and now you have a tidy under bed.

Good for you, getting some work in on the Captain Cook project.

I haven't been in the mood to write lately. I've been doing a couple of cleaning projects every day, though:)

No writing as such (maybe some ideas for my bunny pile) because it being my penultimate day at work forever - plus work dealing in the usual chaotic way with work from home arrangements (yes-no-maybe-somepeople-allpeople-nopeople) - plus trying the clear stuff and ensure I didn't leave any unexploded email bombs for my workmates - my brain decided to simply shut down except for "omigod-omigod-omigod tomorrow is IT"

I am therefore claiming one of those email bombs which I had to be extremely creative in figuratively dismantling counts as my writing for today.

Sounds like a crazy day! Hooray for your penultimate day! Your bunny pile is hopping in excitement for your first day of retirement:)

I got most of the section titles and a few paragraphs for my new essay.

Posted by [identity profile] spikesgirl58.livejournal.com
Well done - titles are the hardest for me.

Posted by [identity profile] spikesgirl58.livejournal.com
Nope. Titles are usually the last thing for me.

They can be hard. In this case it's mostly making sure I have everything I need in there and in the right places.

I'm the one that finally posts something, and then I'll go, 'oh, I should have put ____ in there." lol

It's a tear when I read older fics and think, Aw, I should have done this or that. I've learned to leave them alone.

Good progress, there. I like your method of deciding on the section titles established.

Thanks. For this one especially it was important so I could get everything in the right order.
