The last day of this session, ladies. Here is the place to summarize what Spring pico was like for you, despite the circumstances.

I hope to see you all in June or July again, whichever we might choose this year. Until then, take care of yourselves!

Thanks so much for putting this together and keeping us focused. I didn't do as well as other times, but I did get about 9.300 written and most of it published. It could have been much worst...

I think you really did well, both with writing and everything else you work on.

That's a lot achieved, especially given what is happening...

I really haven't done too badly in the end - I've kept going, at least. It was useful at the start of the month, when I was out on a hill or two every weekend and madly trying not to end up with a backlog of reports - and now that exile from the hills makes writing about them hurt too much I've been thrown back on the Age of Sail, which is good for me!

Although I see that I was going to mend my guitar case and wash my shoes, which I have only done one of...

So no special achievements like writing up ancient adventures, which I might have managed in a more settled month, but I'm reasonably pleased. I'll do a report for today later on.

730 words, finishing off the Trincomalee talk. But I still haven't started knitting a rainbow :)

Trincomalee is the only surviving ship of the period built in an Indian dockyard, and the marks left by the original builders give an insight into the methods used and how these differed from the methods of the English yards.

I'm happy with the amount of writing I did. The bulk of words are in my personal journal, the bulk of time was spent working on my Easter egg, which is come ng along nicely.

Thanks to Wiseheart for organizing and putting up the daily posts! See you all next time!

Real life did get in the way, both today and this month, but I circled round to where I started and spent some time writing in my description diary today.

Now I'll sit down over the next few days, tot up what actual plot bunnies have surfaced in all this exercise... and see where I go from there.

I am amazed at how much so many of us have managed despite what is going on around us - having a whole hutch full of plot bunnies and such useful stuff in your description diary is a great achievement.

For the 31st itself, I wrote a fourth drabble - Luggage (https://tolkien-weekly.livejournal.com/1266315.html).

As for the month - it has been less productive than I had hoped, but even so I really appreciated the daily post here reminding me to at least think about writing!

For all of us this has been a very different month to the one we probably envisioned on 29th February; I had expected to be involved with organising my daughter and her fiancé's wedding according to the plans they had - but the covid tide overcame us and there was no wedding as everything here, including the registrar, was locked down by the wedding date. But this is just my example of the swift changes in life and I know things have been just as strange for everyone else here.

So well done to everyone who has managed to write in their journal to chronical this time, who has managed to concentrate to do research and planning for their writing, or to translate work, and to those who have actually written some of the things they had planned to write when the month began.

Aw a horseshoe for good luck. I don't blame him at all.

It's been a very crazy month. Who could have possibly foreseen this? It certainly took me by surprise. *hugs* and you, too. Well done!
