Here is the place to tell us about your daily success (or the lack of it)!
May the magic be with us all!

I noodled around all day reading something I wrote 10 years ago. (Actually it was pretty good - I am surprised, as I hadn't read it since!) But then made myself open the Word document and at least write something, about 10.30 pm (Thank goodness for Pico!). And I realise that now, at 12.15, there are another 800 words or so written. And the character has made up her mind about something that even I wasn't sure about until I began to type!

That's excellent! Sometimes revisiting old work can be helpful.

Thank you. I found I could enjoy it as a good read because I no longer knew every word of it!

It's always fun to read something written long ago and be pleased with it. :D

I love it when the characters et off their butts and pull their own weight! Good for you!

At the moment a lot of the narrative is conversations, and they seem ready to natter away about things happily :)

Certainly nothing wrong with that (as long as they let you eavesdrop)

It really is - I think 'I need to sit and type as I need to report in' - and then, some days, the words just come.

Every now and then I revisit an old work and swear to god there are things I don't actually remember writing :)
But being able to further your new story definitely calls for congratulations!

That was the effect of re-reading this old one - I could remember the main story line, but didn't remember quite big chunks of it.

I am really pleased with the way the current WIP is growing.

Sneaky character :)

Sometimes I find that I've written things I didn't know I'd ever known, which is confusing.
