No writing today (as expected), and I doubt that there would be any typing up, either. I had a crafty day (see my own journal), and then it got too hot for any coordinated brain functions: 38°C, apparently. I live in a ten-storey concrete monstrosity with no air conditioning. The walls are just one step from glowing. We've switched to pure survival mode.

Like you, I'm waiting for the fall cool-off which is at least seven weeks away.

Once I have my Hubby back at work (he's a college professor who has his summers off) and it's cooled off, I'll be better able to do some serious writing.
As for right now, day-dreaming is about the limit....

I'm very good at daydreaming. *g*
I came up with the idea of a story during a long bus ride across France; I kept a small notebook on me and jotted down the ideas whenever we had a break. After the end of the 11-day package holiday I had the notebook half full!

One of my favorite movies started out pretty much the same way: On a romantic tour of Tuscany, Italy. The name of the movie is “Under the Tuscan Sun”.
It's my favorite plot line/theme too: People having to start over--having to re-invent themselves--after something ruined their past lives.
Have you come up with a plot line/theme yet or are there more than one?

That really is too hot to write. Here it was cool (only 18C) and damp, and it really was easier to write.

It's not the heat that gets to me. It's the cabin fever and the almost complete lack of human contact. *sigh*
