Any interest in a summer version?

Would anyone apart from me be interested in running a mid-year round of Picowrimo this year? June or even July? I'd be willing to moderate, assuming all that's involved is putting up the daily posts for participants to comment on.

ETA: The consensus seems to be falling on running in July.
ETA2: Just to clarify, this is proposing an additional round, NOT any kind of replacement for the usual November round.

I don't think I'd be able to participate - I'm away for half of June and very busy in July. But thank you for the offer!

I am so totally interested! I'm just winding up a May version of NaNo (yes I'm crazy *g* - I've got twenty thousand more words to write in a week), and summer!Pico would be a perfect follow-up to keep me going on the massive amount of rewriting my draft will want.

(I do love Pico. The community we have here is fantastic. Even if we don't do a summer version, I am so looking forward to November! :D)

I'd be interested depending on the timing. Late June, early July doesn't work for me.

Actually, the pico light plan would work well for me too--I think that would make early July quite manageable, and the rest of the month is fine :)

July might work for me. My May project looks like overrunning into June but I'd like something self-contained to work on the month after.

I'd be interested. Like others, I have got things on in both months, but not so much that I couldn't manage some part-time participation and give myself a but of a kick.

Maybe there would be mileage in looking at it as a "light touch" pico - a mid-year boost to support people's activities, but not anticipating as much writing or expecting as much reading (which is an important part of the experience, but time-consuming) as full pico?

I have much less work in July than I do in November so yes, I'd be interested.

November's always a hard time to get much writing done, so July would be a good time for me. So I'd be interested.

It would be a winter version for me, but I'd be interested.

As long as it's not August art month!

I'd be interested. July would work for me.

July would work for me too. Well, apart from the chaos of preparing for my August masochism (teaching computer programming on a Scripture Union holiday) and the inevitable two-jobs loading that has hit November the last few years and now seems determined to affect the whole year. But to some extent that's even more reason to do Pico - it'll make me allocate some time to writing.

July would work just fine for me, and I'm very interested in joining. That wouldn't mean that we cancel November, though, right? Just an additional Pico month?

The same here. I desperately need some feedback on the various projects I'm currently working on.

Count me in, then. And who knows, if we manage to actually meet in August in Liverpool or wherever, we can even discuss the outcome in person. :)

Yep. I'll post our detailed programme soon, then we can see whether we'll be able to squeeze a get-together in or not.

First draft done, so second draft beckons so I will be under the radar for that. But I will check in next November :)

I'd love you to. I may still fail, but until I quit work November is always going to be impossible for me. July on the other hand does contain two weeks of holiday so hope springs eternal.
