Lancelot found that he began to understand why Merlin seemed to hate that word so much.

Tyranny by prophecy. Enforced by sorcery. (Although the sorcery does seem to have been very accurate in indentifying the time of peak fertility.)

Yeah, it's all terribly complicated. But they'll work out things, eventually. And he enjoyed it while it lasted, so it wasn't a complete loss. *is cynical*
