She grew up with servants and a lot of entitlement. I'm going to lose the plot one day soon.

The clothes and ID were required to get through security, but yes, he was definitely discarded as surplus to needs.

Servants. Jesus. Even for MY characters that was beginning to fade out a bit towards the end of the novel ;-)

Ah I misread the reason for the stripping. I suppose at least they left him his underpants, though that's not much comfort.

She comes from Pakistan; her father is something in the government. But I gather all the wealthier ones have servants. She never even made her bed till she came here. She really needs to absorb a bit more about cultural sensitivity that, you know, goes the other way.

Yeah, not so much comfort at that point. He was shot down fully clothed though.
