I don't know about others, but I've been finding this third week tough going. (Like I'd hit the wall.)
espresso_addict made me feel better by the simple trick of subtracting my wordcount from the total (I can't believe I didn't think of this!). So now it's a countdown rather than a count-up, and it all feels a lot more achievable. Good vibes to you all.

on 2006-11-19 04:07 pm (UTC)That is to say, when you add 500 words to an existing 6200 (or 1700 words to an existing 29000) the change you get doesn't look much. But adding 300 words to your 500 looks a lot, and taking 1700 off your 19981 remaining makes a decent sized dent.
