Just keep writing. Even though it seems to be going nowhere, really is. You just can't see it yet.

I worry a bit about your chicken gravy fixation...

I was reading a comment by an author (and of course I forgot the name) who said sometimes when he can't get anywhere he just starts writing nonsense ad sooner or later his brain takes over and says " stop being an idiot, this is what you should say".

I'm willing to see if it works.
