No new words, but I typed up a previously written scene, which is progress in my eyes. If I go on like that, I might post the finished chapter tomorrow. *fingers crossed*

Excerpt:

In the interrogation room of the ARC Jack leaned back in his chair and watched the young man sitting on the other side of the table with detached interest.

Ethan Dobrowski – or, apparently, Patrick Quinn – was a personable young man in his early thirties – or so it seemed. But there was something in his eyes that belied the pleasant mask he was wearing.

Something that painfully reminded Jack of his own brother: a lingering madness, born from some deep trauma.

Something that made him doubt if there would be any reasoning with the young man.

Good progress! Nice snip there. I like the picture of Jack, trying to remain neutral, aloof in the face of a painful reminder of his brother. Very nice.

Thank you. Chronologically, this story is supposed to take place after Season 2 of Torchwood, only that I refused to kill off Tosh and Owen. So yeah, Jack already had to face his brother and the vengeful acts of said brother and can better understand Ethan's motivations than anyone else, I think.
